University Faculty Award for Undergraduate Research Call for Nominations

The 11th annual Georgia State Undergraduate Research Conference (GSURC) will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 in the Student Center. As part of the preparation for this exciting event, the GSURC Advisory Board is currently soliciting nominations for the Faculty Award for Undergraduate Research. The award recipient will receive $1000 and serve as the Keynote Speaker for GSURC 2017.

The successful nominee for the Faculty Award for Undergraduate Research must be a permanent full-time Georgia State faculty member with a demonstrated commitment to mentoring and supporting undergraduate students in research activities. Evidence of research collaboration with undergraduates, including co-authorship of conference presentations, and/or peer-reviewed publications, is strongly encouraged.

Nominations may come from any member of the Georgia State community. The Honors College is no longer accepting nominations for the 2017 Faculty Award for Undergraduate Research. Nominations for the 2018 Faculty Award will begin next fall.
